SCDA is pleased to announce our completed 2005 Schedule of Events! We have twelve events planned in 2005: four at Lime Rock Park, six events at New Hampshire International, and two at Watkins Glen International.
The Sports Car Driving Association, LLC is pleased to announce that we have four events at Lime Rock Park in 2005! The SCDA will be at Lime Rock Park on March 28, June 17, June 18, and November 4. This 1.53 facility is a roller coaster ride that deserves its nickname as the Road Racing Center of the East. From the challenging uphill, to the fast 90 degree West Bend turn, to the exhilarating downhill turn - this track has it all. These events sell out quickly, and registration is handled on a first come, first served basis. Mark your calendar now for these Lime Rock SCDA track days! Price for this SCDA event at Lime Rock Park is $265.
The Sports Car Driving Association, LLC is pleased to announce that we will be returning to New Hampshire International Speedway for six events in 2005! NHIS is located in Loudon, New Hampshire, about an hour north of Boston. This unique facility is a 1.6 mile road course that utilizes both permanent road course, as well as Nascar Oval sections. Furthermore, there are some dramatic elevation changes that keep drivers of all ability levels on their toes. The facilities at NHIS are first rate, and the track surface is smooth as glass. The Sports Car Driving Association, LLC is excited about our upcoming return to Watkins Glen International. This high performance driving event is being held on Monday May 2 and Tuesday May 3. Watkins Glen, located at the southern tip of Lake Seneca in Watkins Glen, New York is one of the premier permanent road courses in North America. This first class 3.5 mile facility hosted the United States Grand Prix for many years, and now the track is one of two road courses that Nascar Winston Cup races on. This is the same track that drivers from Jeff Gordon to Jackie Stewart have driven on! The May 2 and May 3 event will fill up quickly. Each participant will get four driving sessions each day. A minimum of 3.5 hours track time is promised over the two days. Classroom sessions will be held each day, Professional Flaggers will be working the event, and we will have garages available as well. Watkins Glen events are $235 for one day, or $450 for both.
