Lime Rock Park APRIL 12

The Sports Car Driving Association, LLC is pleased to announce that we will be returning to Lime Rock Park for multiple events throughout our 2010 track driving season! This 1.53 facility is a roller coaster ride that deserves its nickname as the Road Racing Center of the East. From the challenging uphill, to the fast 90 degree West Bend turn, to the exhilarating downhill turn - this track has it all. These events sell out quickly, and registration is handled on a first come, first served basis. Mark your calendar now for this exciting SCDA Lime Rock track day! To clarify, the event on April 12 is our "usual" SCDA event; full day in format. Participants can expect four on track drive sessions, one on one In Car Instruction if needed, and two Classroom Sessions. In an effort to provide maximum levels of safety, quality, and fun at our events, the SCDA will provide trained and certified SCCA flaggers at the corner stations. This ensures that our drivers can focus on one thing- improving their driving skills. This event is geared towards all skill level drivers, from Novice to Advanced. We would like to remind you that Spec Miatas are available for rent at this event. Please note that cars will need to be muffled to 89dB at all Lime Rock Park events. Register Here!

New Hampshire Motor Speedway APRIL 19

The Sports Car Driving Association, LLC is pleased to announce that we will be hosting three events at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) in 2010! NHMS is located in Loudon, New Hampshire, about an hour north of Boston. This unique facility is a 1.6 mile road course that utilizes both permanent road course, as well as Nextel Cup Oval sections. Furthermore, there are some dramatic elevation changes that keep drivers of all ability levels on their toes. The facilities at NHMS are first rate, and the track surface is smooth as glass.

The SCDA will provide four on track drive sessions per day, one on one In Car Instruction and Classroom Instruction is also included as part of the SCDA program! In an effort to provide maximum levels of safety, quality, and fun at our events, the SCDA will provide trained and certified SCCA flaggers at the corner stations. This ensures that our drivers can focus on one thing- improving their driving skills. Register Here!

Watkins Glen APRIL 26 & 27

The Sports Car Driving Association, LLC is excited about our upcoming return to Watkins Glen International. This high performance driving event is being held on Monday April 26 and Tuesday April 27. For 2010 we are pleased to let our customers know that more track time will now be provided Five x 30 Minute Session Each Day! To respond to our customers requests, this event will utilize the 3.4 mile Watkins Glen "LONG COURSE" on April 26. On April 27, we will change the track configuration, and drivers will have the ability to hone their skills on the ultra fast 2.45 Watkins Glen "SHORT COURSE". It should be noted that "The Glen" short course is the same exact layout that Nextel Cup utilizes, and the same track that Davy Jones was able to post a lap that averaged 150.334 MPH in 1992! Watkins Glen, located at the southern tip of Lake Seneca in Watkins Glen, New York is one of the premier permanent road courses in North America. This first class 3.4 mile facility hosted the United States Grand Prix for many years, and now the track is one of two road courses that Nascar Nextel Cup races on. This is the same track that drivers from Jeff Gordon to Jackie Stewart have driven on! Clark, Hill, Stewart, Fittipaldi, Andretti are just a handful of motorsports icons that have contributed to the history of Watkins Glen. In an effort to provide maximum levels of safety, quality, and fun at our events, the SCDA will provide trained and certified SCCA flaggers at the corner stations. This ensures that our drivers can focus on one thing- improving their driving skills. Race winning SCDA Spec Miatas are available for "The Glen" event. Please note that garages are offered on a first come, first served basis. Garage bay stickers will be for sale on the morning of the event. Each participant can expect five driving sessions each day; one on one in car Instruction (if needed) and Classroom Instruction as well.

Monticello May 17

The SCDA is pleased to announce that we have the exclusive privilege of utilizing the FULL 3.5 Mile Monticello Track configuration on May 17. The SCDA track event at Monticello is open to all level drivers, from Novice through Advanced. Professional Flaggers will be working this event, and participants can expect four on track drive sessions, one on one Instruction if needed and two Classroom Sessions. Monticello Motor Club is located in Monticello, New York. The facility opened in the summer of 2008, and the feedback from those that have already driven at this circuit has been superb. In an effort to provide maximum levels of safety, quality, and fun at our events, the SCDA will provide trained and certified SCCA flaggers at the corner stations. This ensures that our drivers can focus on one thing- improving their driving skills. A limited number of race winning Spec Miata rental cars are available for this event. I am the second owner of this well maintained Porsche. This car has many upgrades, with the most important being a new factory installed engine with only 8k miles on it since it was installed.

The car was bone stock when it was purchased by me with 49K miles. I am a mechanical Engineer and very picky about making only top quality modifications to my cars. I have added over $10K in top-shelf upgrades. Absolutely no changes have been made to the engine. And over the last 2 years I installed Porsche factory GT-3 seats and matching Stainless Steel Roll bar, and Schroth harnesses. I also had the car upgraded with adjustable Bilstein suspension all around and adjustable H&R Sway bars.

It has a comprehensive warranty that covers almost all components including mechanical and electrical parts until 100K miles.
