Dream Track Car:     McLaren F1 (there is a silver one in the Boston area – I will take it!) Realistically, I’ll probably wind up in a 2004/2005 Subaru STi.
Favorite Track:     NHIS
Most Memorable Track Experience:     Driving sideways in the rain through the gravel pit after turn 1 at Watkins Glen, with Bill Prout yelling at me to keep it pointed at the track. I kept the gas pedal down and was able to recover and swing it back onto the track without hitting anything. Whew! Thank goodness for AWD! Lesson learned – stay away from the paint in the rain. Also, slaloming through the Intermediate group chasing an STi at a recent NHIS event, and getting bumped to Advanced.
Least Memorable Track Experience:     Running in Advanced the next day and discovering that the wagon is not that fast after all!!
Ultimate Track Goals:     In the near future, work on consistency and smoothness – follow the line, hit the braking, track-in, apex, and track-out points consistently and smoothly, and build speed from it without going over the limits of the car.
In the (very) distant future – perhaps get to instructor level!

Years Running with the SCDA, LLC:     2 years (2002, 2003 – ran one event in 2001 that got me hooked!)
Anything else we should know?     It would be great if SCDA could expand its events to other tracks such as Mosport, Summit Point, and Mont Tremblant.
