After I acquire more
skills, I will start thinking about more cars, but a purpose-built
track car would be what I see – still something of a sleeper though. |

| Most Memorable Track Experience: |
Hey, last week
at LRP in the mud is still very prominent in my memory, however, a
very positive is experience was the last run of the year at LRP with,
well, some other group, doing Time Trials. Although I have been
involved with performance driving only since March 2004, I was pleased
to record a time of 1:06 in my relatively unmodified car (lower and
stiffer suspension, competition brake pads, Hoosiers). Also, passing
135mph on the back straight @ Pocono. Remember, it’s a station wagon. |
| Least Memorable Track Experience: |
A memorable
learning experience, although not one to repeat, was at NHIS on a wet
morning, 1st run. I spun on the second turn after the long straight
and went through the mud to land back on the NASCAR portion of the
track. A no-collision incident, fortunately. Can still be seen (in slo-mo,
no less) at:
