Furthermore, there are some dramatic elevation changes that keep drivers of all ability levels on their toes. The facilities at NHMS are first rate, and the track surface is smooth as glass. The SCDA would like to thank all of our customers for driving with us at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Tuesday, May 27. The garages were filled with a great mix of cars : Audi R8, Ferrari 430 Challenge, Porsche 997, Mazda RX7 were just some of the sports cars in attendance. The weather was story book perfect, with blue skies and a light breeze. Looking ahead, we will be returning to New Hampshire Motor Speedway on July 14, 2008. This is a unique event that will offer those drivers that do not require in car instruction a ton of track time, and a minimum of traffic. 20 cars max per group will ensure maximum open track, and FIVE HOURS TRACK TIME should give you all the seat time you need in a one day event! Please get your application in ASAP if this special event works for your schedule, as spaces are extremely limited!

For those that are Lime Rock Park driving enthusiasts, make sure to mark your calendars today for August 13 event. We have secured Lime Rock Park, full day in format, on August 13, and this event is geared towards all level drivers, from Novice to Advanced. This event is filling up fast, but as of now, there are limited spaces available in all run groups.

Looking ahead, our April 28 & 29th event on the 3.5 mile Watkins Glen circuit is shaping up nicely and filling up fast. Currently, there are limited spaces available for our annual "The Glen" spring opener. www.theglen.com.  If you have not driven at Watkins Glen, then please put that on your To Do list. The track has hosted both Nextel Cup, as well as the US Grand Prix events; and is a challenging and exciting driver's track that should not be missed. If the dates work for your schedule, then fill out the application today, to ensure a spot with us at the end of this month. In the meantime, we hope that all of our customers are enjoying the spring weather and getting your cars prepared for some exciting events.

Shortly after our April 28 and 29th Watkins Glen event, we will be returning to Lime Rock Park www.limerock.com on Friday, May 9th. Wednesday, September 17 -- Thunderbolt Raceway

The SCDA is pleased to announce three newly added events to our 2008 schedule of events. We will be one of the first clubs in the Northeast to gain access to the brand new, state of the art New Jersey Motorsports Park facility in Millville, New Jersey. Not only will the pavement be smooth as glass, this venue offers two completely independent tracks! Our first visit to NJMP will take place on Tuesday, August 26 on the 1.9 mile Lightning Raceway. Shortly thereafter, we will return to NJMP, hosting an event on Wednesday, September 17 on the challenging 2.25 mile Thunderbolt Raceway. Enroll today for these events, and be one of the first to experience the brand new New Jersey Motorsports Park facility! Please note both NJMP events are offered to all skill level drivers -- from Novice through Advanced.

Trick or Treat? Lime Rock Park: Friday, October 31!
