The SCDA is looking forward to the upcoming Lime Rock Park track days, Friday June 11 and Saturday June 12. Please remember that all cars must be muffled to 89db at this facility. Street cars should not have a problem meeting the sound limits. If your car is modified for track use, then please make sure that you bolt on your supertrapp exhaust or muffler. Cars and tow rigs will be allowed to park at the track overnight on Friday June 11, but camping overnight is not allowed. One final reminder, the gates will open at 6:30 AM on June 11, and the days schedule will be online early next week. We look forward to having you attend this event.

Also, looking ahead a few more weeks, we will be returning to New Hampshire International Speedway on Monday, June 21, and at this point, we can accommodate all level drivers. If your schedule permits, we hope that you are able to attend this event! See you at the track.

It was great to see familiar faces, and many new faces as well! In particular, we had over 15 Minis come out to the event, and a big job well done to that group!

The next SCDA event is Watkins Glen, May 3 and 4. This is a 3.5 mile track, located in the Finger Lakes region of New York state. This world class facility hosts one of two NASCAR Road Races, and also was the site of the US Grand Prix. Come on out and join us on the same track that has hosted Jeff Gordon, Jackie Stewart, Mario Andretti, and countless other driving experts!

The Sports Car Driving Association, LLC Is pleased to announce that we have recently added a sixth date at Lime Rock Park for the 2004 Season! We will be at Lime Rock Park on Saturday, April 3rd. Applications are being accepted now for this event, and if there is sufficient interest, we are working on certain marquee specific Run Groups for this event, including: New and Classic Mini Cooper Run Group, A Corvette and Corvette Z06 Run Group, and an Italian Car Run Group! This is a choice spring weekend date, and we hope to see you at the track! Applications can be printed on www.scda1.com and we will have two other run groups at this event for enthusiasts of all types of cars!

The SCDA is enjoying this warming trend! We hope that you are too. The snow is melting rapidly, and the grass is showing again! As a reminder, we will kick off our 2004 Season at Lime Rock Park, in Northwestern, Connecticut on March 22 and March 23. Lastly, SCDA students never need to work on corner stations - Professional SCCA Flaggers will be provided at all events!
