We have thirteen events planned in 2004: six at Lime Rock Park, five events at New Hampshire International, and two at Watkins Glen International. We are currently not accepting applications yet for the 04 Season, but please keep an eye on www.scda1.com to see when applications will be accepted for next years events!

To all SCDA enthusiasts, it is hard to believe that we have already had ten great events in 2003! The season is not over yet, though. We are excited to be returning to Lime Rock Park on November 7. This event is SOLD OUT, but please keep an eye on the site for our expanded 2004 Schedule! We are hoping to have the 2004 schedule finalized within a month. The SCDA will again be returning to the best tracks in the Northeast : Lime Rock Park, Watkins Glen and New Hampshire International.

The Sports Car Driving Association, LLC would also like to congratulate SCDA Instructors Elivan Goulart, Jeremy Treadway, and Mike Rand on their recent race wins at Lime Rock Park on Saturday, September 27! Goulart won the Formula SCCA race in his new VanDiemen Formula SCCA racer. Treadway and Rand won the Formula Ford and Club Formula Ford races respectively, both with outstanding drives. So, congratulations on a job well done! Look for these talented drivers at upcoming SCDA events.

Cars will be on course from 9 AM and the day wraps up around 5 PM.

Garages will be also available, and are $25 per car. You can rent the garage space at Registration. Garages are available on a first come, first served basis.

Everyone got to experience both wet and dry track conditions - and everyone did a GREAT JOB !! We had a great mix of cars : Porsches, BMW's, Subaru WRX's , a very fast Supra Turbo, Mitsubishi Lancer Evo's, many Corvette ZO6's, Lotus Esprit Turbo, Honda S2000, Mazda Miata, and many more enthusiast cars! We will be returning to NHIS on MONDAY, OCTOBER 6, and we are now accepting Student Applications for this event. The SCDA would like to thank all customers and instructors for helping pull off a great two day event at Lime Rock last week. We had a great bunch of cars and drivers and two full days of safe and fun on track driving! A job well done by all.

The next SCDA Event will be on August 12 and 13 at New Hampshire International Speedway. We are running the 1.6 mile road course - and this is a challenging track with elevation changes and high speed turns! Students may sign up for one or both days - we will be running on August 12 and August 13. Space is still available for all run groups, however the Novice Run Group on August 12 is already at about 90% capacity. Applications can be downloaded and printed here (PDF format).

The Novice and Intermediate groups are SOLD OUT for the SCDA event at NHIS on May 22nd. There are still a few spots left for Advanced Run Group participants.

To all customers participating at Watkins Glen: Race fuel and pump gas will be available at the track both days from 8:00-10:00 and 12:00- 2:00 both days. Also, TrakCam motor sports photographers will be attending the upcoming SCDA event at Watkins Glen and will be taking photographs both May 5 and 6.

The Sports Car Driving Association is very excited about our upcoming Watkins Glen Driving Event on May 5 and 6. Gates will open at 6 AM on May 5 and 6. No persons will be allowed into the facility before 6 AM Monday. Trailers and cars may not be dropped off at the track on Sunday night; this is a Watkins Glen Rule. Registration will open at 6:30 AM and last until 8 AM. There will be a mandatory drivers meeting at 8 AM sharp, and the track will open for the first run group at 8:30 AM. The days activities will end at 4:30 on Monday and Tuesday. There will be an on-site tech inspection and tech sheets will be included in your registration packet. There are no pre-event tech forms. Garages will be available on a first come, first served basis for $25 per car per day. SCDA Garage parking stickers will be for sale at the registration desk. Registration for the SCDA event will take place in the main garage at Watkins Glen. We look forward to seeing you all next week!

A big thank you to all SCDA students and instructors for helping make the March 24 and 25 SCDA event at Lime Rock Park such a success!  The weather was beautiful both days, and we had a great mix of cars and drivers!  We had Mini Coopers, Mercedes Benz CLK's, Dodge Neons, Porsches, BMW M3's, a beautiful new 350Z and even a Lotus Exige!  For your information, photos of the event are now online. The SCDA is up and running and we hope to see you all at a future 2003 event!

The SCDA is looking forward to our upcoming Monday and Tuesday, March 24 and 25 event at Lime Rock Park. The event is ON. In the unlikely event that we are forced to cancel due to weather, students will be contacted by phone. We have spoken to the track, and they are confident that we will be able to run. The weather for the next few days , and Monday and Tuesday looks favorable, and to repeat, please plan on attending unless you are contacted by phone. For some more information on the event:

• Gates open 6:30 AM
• Registration will take place in the Michelin Tower from 7-8 AM
• Tech 7-8:15 AM
• Drivers' Meeting 8:30 AM
• Cars on course 9-5 PM

Please remember that cars need to be muffled to 89db. There are no Pre Event Tech sheets. The SCDA will include a Tech Sheet as part of your registration packet. After you register, you will need to bring your car to the Pit Lane for a brief on-site Tech Inspection. Please make sure that there are no loose items in your car, such as cell phones, etc. Also, Salisbury Catering will be open both days from 7:30 AM to 4 PM so food will be available at the track. We still have a few spots available for interested persons for the event. Applications can be printed online. 

Also, please note that our upcoming May 5 and 6 Watkins Glen event is SOLD OUT.

The SCDA is gearing up for our first events of the year March 24 and March 25 at Lime Rock Park.  We are very excited about returning to the Road Racing Center of the East! One other note regarding Lime Rock Park....Registration for the June 27 and June 28 Events will open on April 1.  No entries for these two events will be accepted if postmarked before April 1, 2003.  Thank you for your cooperation with this.

Please remember that the first SCDA event at NHIS is May 22 and Student Applications for all events can be downloaded at the bottom of the FAQ section of www.scda1.com or by clicking here. All events are currently open for registration, and events are filling up quickly. Please get your applications in today, so that you don't miss out on the fun! More updates will appear on the site, as we get closer to the events. Lastly, the SCDA 2003 Season kicks off at Lime Rock Park on March 24!
