SCDA Announces Additional 2002 Event in West Palm Beach,
Florida! |

The 2002 Season is not over yet! SCDA would like to inform all interested
persons that we are working with a colleague in Florida to put on one final
event for 2002. The event will take place at Moroso Motorsports Park in West
Palm Beach, Florida on December 14, 2002. Any interested party should contact
Peter Argetsinger at 954 384 7129 for more information.

SCDA Announces Our Complete 2003 Schedule of Events |

The SCDA, LLC is pleased to announce our completed 2003
Schedule of Events. We have 11
events scheduled for 2003! We will visit Lime Rock Park five times in 2003,
we have four dates planned at New Hampshire International, and we will be
returning to Watkins Glen International for two days! This schedule is final
and we hope to see you at many events in '03! Also, the SCDA, LLC would like
to wish all of our friends and customers a Happy and Healthy Holiday Season!

A big thank you to all who participated in the recent November 8 SCDA track event at Lime Rock Park! The weather was beautiful and there was a great mix of cars and enthusiasts in attendance. Just a reminder that all photos for the day can be viewed at

2003 SCDA Schedule
To all SCDA Participants: We are pleased to announce our confirmed dates for 2003! As of now, we will be having five track events at Lime Rock Park in 2003, as well as a return to Watkins Glen International in May! We will also be running at NHIS in 2003, and these dates will be added soon. The 2003 SCDA Schedule as of Nov. 13, 2002 is:

A big thank you to all instructors and students that participated at the recent
NHIS SCDA Event. We had a great mix of cars and students, and despite a few rain
showers, the day ended up with a dry track and many smiling faces! Everyone did
a great job driving in both dry and wet conditions! Also, I would like to remind
people that the next and last event of the 2002 SCDA season is on Friday,
November 8 at Lime Rock Park in Connecticut. This event is SOLD OUT, and should
be a great day! Lastly, the SCDA would like to remind people to keep an eye on
www.scda1.com as important 2003 schedule announcements will be coming soon. As
of now we have five confirmed dates in '03 at Lime Rock Park, two days at
Watkins Glen, New York, and we are finalizing our dates at NHIS! STAY TUNED ..

Information about SCDA at NHIS, October 7th! |

We are very excited about the upcoming Monday , October 7 SCDA Event at NHIS.
The event is sold out in all run groups, and we have a great mix of cars and
drivers coming to the event. We will be running the South and North Chicane
configuration for the monday, October 7 event. Please remember that the sound
limit at NHIS is 99 dB's. If you are in question, please put your supertrapps on
your cars! Also, we have hired SCCA Flaggers to work at this event, so no corner
working is required of participants. Also, we are pleased to have Rick Pocock
conducting the Classroom sessions, and he will be happy to help you with any
questions that you may have. The weather looks great, and I look forward to
having you all join us at NHIS on Monday, October 7. The registration windows
will open at 7 AM.!!

M3 For Rent for SCDA Schools. The SCDA is now renting our BMW M3 for SCDA
Drivers Schools. The car is fully prepared for track events. The renter will get
a safe and fun car, that is ideally suited for Drivers Ed events. The car has an
Autopower Four Point Roll Bar, Sabelt 5 Point Harnesses, and Kumho DOT R
Compound track tires. Save the wear and tear on your street car, and come drive
our car! Cost is $500 for the event!

SCDA Instructor Elivan Goulart wins National Championship at Mid Ohio in Formula
500 |

Instructor, and twenty one year old UConn senior, Elivan Goulart, recently
successfully defended his 2001 National Championship at Mid Ohio, winning the
2002 National Championships in the highly competitive Formula 500 Class. Elivan,
who is originally from Brazil, has been racing go - karts since he was a child,
and this talented driver is one to watch in the future. Elivan has instructed
with the SCDA for the past three years, and he is on the fast track to a
professional road racing career. Make sure to watch Elivan's dominating
performance on the Speed Channel on Saturday, November 23 at 1 PM Eastern. The
Sports Car Driving Association would like to congratulate Elivan on an awesome
drive at Mid Ohio! - Just another day in the office for an SCDA Instructor!

Reminders and details for October 7 event at NHIS |
| Just a few more reminders to my customers for
the upcoming SCDA Event at New Hampshire International Speedway. The event is
shaping up and there is a great group of cars that are going to be participating
at this event! I look forward to seeing you all at the track. Here are a few
more facts about the event. FLAGGERS - We have professional SCCA Flaggers that
we have hired to work the event! - I feel that this helps students concentrate
on their own driving... there will be no distractions by having to break up the
day changing flaggers at the flag stations. This worked out well with previous
events, and I am sure that this will prove to be the case for October 7th! |

NHIS Reminders |
| The SCDA, LLC is looking forward to our
upcoming event at New Hampshire International Speedway. Just a few reminders for
the event: The sound limit at NHIS is 99 dB. Please make sure that your car is
not louder than 99dB! Also, to clarify, this event is a non-competitive high
performance drivers educational event. This is not a race, nor is it a time
trial. Rather, the event is designed to provide the enthusiast with a safe and
fun environment in which to enjoy their vehicles. So far, we have a great range
of cars, from Corvette Z06, to Acura NSX, to Sunbeam Tiger and almost everything
in between! Lastly, please remember that Snell 95 Helmets are required for the
event! |
