SCDA Gift Certificates Now Available Online!

SCDA Gift Certificates now available!

The SCDA is pleased to announce that we are now offering Gift Certificates. If you would like a gift that is sure to bring a smile to the face of that special driving enthusiast on your list, then look no further! Available in $100 increments, SCDA gift certificates can be purchased through our secure online store. The Gift Certificates will be redeemable at any or all 2009 SCDA events! The lucky recipient can decide which event(s) they would like to participate in and the Gift Certificate will be applied accordingly. This unique gift provides driving enthusiasts the flexibility to hand select which SCDA event(s) will work for their schedule. A reminder that we will be hosting events at the best tracks in the Northeast! Gift Certificates are printed on high quality stock, and will also include an SCDA sticker. This special envelope will be shipped to your door! SCDA Gift Certificates can be applied towards use of our Spec Miata Rental Cars as well. An update on the 2009 SCDA Schedule, A new featured Instructor, and Happy Thanksgiving!

The SCDA is actively working on finalizing our 2009 season schedule. We will be posting our confirmed 2009 schedule in the very near future. The SCDA already has confirmed dates at Lime Rock Park, New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Watkins Glen, New Jersey Motorsports Park (Both Lightning and Thunderbolt), and Monticello! 2009 will be our biggest season to date, with events at the best tracks in the Northeast! Please check back soon for some exciting announcements regarding the SCDA, 2009 dates, and perhaps even a new track or two! We will also be adding SCDA Gift Certificates, just in time for the Holiday Season. Stay tuned for more info! In the meantime, the SCDA would like to thank you for your continued support and we hope that all of our driving enthusiast customers have a safe and enjoyable off season.

SCDA at Lime Rock Park 11/11/08 Event Recap

The Sports Car Driving Association, LLC would like to thank our customers for driving with us at Lime Rock Park on November 11. There were some great cars and enthusiasts that joined in on the fun at this historic track. It should be noted that this was our 19th and final event of the 2008 SCDA season. The track conditions were very fast with a dry surface, smooth as glass pavement, and not too much of a chill in the air. We would like to remind you that over 600 photos from our November 11 event are now posted on www.tracktimephotos.com

SCDA Spec Miata rental customer Matt Ferris catches air at the Uphill. This kid was "flying" all day, logging an astounding 176 miles or 115.03 laps at the 1.53 mile Lime Rock circuit in our #23 Spec Miata.

Mark Russo is a product of the SCDA ladder : starting out with no experience in the Novice Run Group; and now he is one of the fastest cars in the Advanced Run Group.

Newsflash : The SCDA is pleased to announce a new date at Lime Rock Park on Tuesday, November 11. We have just secured this date. This event will offer 3 hours track time for each driver. This event is Unmuffled, so closed wheel and sports racing cars are welcome to attend the event. This event is for experienced track drivers only; drivers that do NOT require in car instruction. There are some incredible cars registered for this event, including a BMW M6, 2008 Porsche GT3 Cup Car, and a beautiful 1966 Shelby GT350 Mustang! We look forward to having you drive with us at Lime Rock Park, and bring a lot of fuel and brake pads...with 3 hours track time for each driver, you will need them!

Adam Burrows available for Private Coaching at Lime Rock Park on NOVEMBER 11

The SCDA is pleased to announce that 2007 Koni Grand Am Cup ST Champion Adam Burrows will be at Lime Rock Park for our November 11 event. Adam is one of the most talented drivers in the country, and we are pleased to inform our customers that Burrows will be available for private coaching. After a lengthy club racing career, with multiple National Wins, poles and track records; Adam made the jump to professional sports car racing in 2007. Burrows drove for Turner Motorsport in the highly competitive Koni Grand Am Cup series in 07. Driving a BMW 330i, Burrows and teammate Trevor Hopwood clinched the Championship in their Rookie Season. Burrows extensive knowledge of Lime Rock Park was evident when he put his Turner Motorsport BMW on Pole Position for the 2007 Koni Grand Am Cup race.

For 2008, Burrows was recruited by Compass 360 Racing. Burrows drove a front drive Acura TSX in the 08 season. With 2 wins in 08, as well as ending second in the season championship; Burrows has proven his speed in either front or rear wheel drive sedans.
